The AoF held a conversation session with Jonathan Gray (Jon Gray), President and Chief Operating Officer of Blackstone on 16 February 2023. Blackstone is the world’s leading alternative investment manager. The session was moderated by Howard Lee, Deputy Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA).
During the event, Jon offered many actionable insights on investment and management. He discussed the evolution of the alternatives business; what investments to look for under the prevailing interest rate and inflation outlook; which real estate sectors are facing headwinds and tailwinds, and much more. Jon also frankly shared stories of his setbacks during his rapid career advancement.
The conversation was conducted in hybrid format, and was broadcast online.
