Ginni Wong is currently the Director (Supervision) of Supervision Division at the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA). In this role, she holds various responsibilities related to the supervision of MPF trustees, MPF intermediaries, industry training and education, and the registration and supervision of ORSO schemes.
With over 30 years of experience, Ginni has extensive experience in the financial industry and has a strong background in the supervision of financial intermediaries and financial audits. Prior to joining the MPFA in 2018, she worked as an Associate Director in the Intermediaries Supervision Division of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission. During her tenure there, she focused on prudential and conduct supervision of different types of financial intermediaries such as securities and futures brokers, financial advisors, and global investment banks in Hong Kong.
Ginni's expertise extends beyond supervision as she also possesses regulatory compliance experience, she had worked in the compliance function of a European bank as well as HKEX.
